Hi, I'm Shiela. I'm a forestry graduate who builds marketing systems.

I'm a forestry graduate. I finished my BS in Forestry, specializing in Environmental Forestry, at UP Los Baños magna cum laude, then spent the next years on the project side of environmental work: as a forest extension officer with the DENR, supporting the management of Mt. Isarog Natural Park, helping draft a city's Environment Code with 150 stakeholders, and assessing nature-based solutions and water projects with UPLB research teams.

I kept seeing the same thing. Good environmental work was buried in technical reports and never reached the people who could hire, fund or support it. The experts were busy doing the work. Nobody was translating it.

Alongside that, I was building marketing systems. I'm HubSpot-certified (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub and Inbound), I build automations in HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Make and Zapier, and I run marketing for three Australian businesses.

So I started focusing Anchor Growth Co on marketing and automation for environmental businesses. I understand what an arborist, a consultant or a carbon project developer is actually selling, and I know how to get it in front of the right people and follow up when they're interested.

My field experience is in the Philippines. The challenge it taught me, making technical environmental work visible and understandable, is the same one US environmental businesses face. Anchor Growth Co is remote-first: I'm based in Libmanan, Camarines Sur, and work with US clients over Google Meet or Zoom, at times that suit your time zone.
